LinkedIn P4P Integration

Dear customers,

The LinkedIn Pay-for-Performance (P4P) is now seamlessly integrated at Softgarden. Currently, you cannot use the P4P model and LinkedIn Job Slots simultaneously. Please note this Integration only applies to “Paid” job ads (booked and paid via the Softgarden ATS), posting to LinkedIn for “Free” is not affected by the steps listed here.

How does it work?

  • Post a Pay-for-Performance (P4P) job advertisement from Softgarden to LinkedIn directly using the integrated API.

  • Choose a budget tier for P4P postings that fits your needs (Low, Medium, or High). For questions and consultations regarding budget tiers, please speak directly with the responsible media team. The team will be happy to assist you.

  • The billing for P4P ads is completely handled through Softgarden.

Important Information

  1. This feature is only available to companies without an active Job Slots contract.

  2. P4P postings run for a fixed duration of 30 days with the following budget tiers:

    • Low Tier: 299€

    • Medium Tier: 399€

    • High Tier: 549€

Detailed Step-by-Step Integration Process

Step 1: Activate LinkedIn P4P in Settings

  1. Navigate to the “Your Profile” section

  2. Open “Settings” from the Gear Icon

  3. Find the "Job Boards" section under Customization in the secondary navigation and scroll down the "Additional Job Boards" section

  4. Find "LinkedIn Pay For Performance (P4P)" and activate the toggle

  5. Add and your company URL and ensure it is properly configured

  6. Press the "Save" button

    • Optional: Review the LinkedIn terms and conditions via the provided link

THIS STEP IS ONLY NEEDED IF YOU HAVE NEVER POSTED VIA LINKEDIN , IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ADDED YOUR COMPANY URL BEFORE INSIDE THE ATS - P4P WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENABLED FOR YOU

Step 2: Promote Your Job Posting as LinkedIn P4P

Once the integration is activated and Step 1 is completed, the LinkedIn P4P option will automatically appear in your Premium Channels section when promoting a job. Or you can use the “Search” for them.

It is important to remember that to see LinkedIn P4P as an option when promoting a job you first have to enable it from the “Job Boards Settings” as described in Step 1.

To configure your posting details:

1. Select an appropriate "Job category" from the dropdown

2. Select appropriate "Industry category" from the dropdown

3.Press the "Save" button

4. Click "Next"

Step 3: Review and Complete Your Purchase

As a final step please review your comprehensive summary, then publish your job posting by clicking the “Purchase & publish” button.

Step 4: Reviewing your job posting and

Once your job has been successfully posted, you can review the data metrics related to it. To do that:

1.Open the “Jobs Tab” from the main navigation

2. Select your promoted job

3. Click “Job Boards” from the secondary navigation

4. Click on the “Status” of the job and the following metrics will be shown:

  • Ad views

  • Clicks

  • Budget

  • Remaining budget

Please keep in mind that LinkedIn can take up to 48 hours to update those values.
